in 2010 I said I would see 365 movies in one year. I made it to 224. In 2011, I made it to 84. This year, I'm just going to watch for fun and post a lot more random stuff.

“Streets are for People!”
Well at least they are tomorrow, as metered curbside parking spaces near our office are being turned into urban parks on Spring Street between 6th & 7th.
If you’re around tomorrow come check this out, we’ll be there for sure.

19 - I Love You, Man

Another “Los Angeles” movie. I was actually more excited about all the place I know and love being featured in this movie (Like James Beach in Venice) than the movie itself. For that aspect alone, I approve of this movie

18 - Swingers — This movie has been quoted and referenced to me for all of my adult life, and I just saw it for the first time tonight. Should have seen it years ago.
I love movies that show LA as LA and this is one of them. I also love movies that look at the lives of people in their 20s and 30s without being overly emotional, sensitive, or quirky (I’m looking at you movies from the last 6 or 7 years). Anyway, the verdict is that it was a rad movie.
