Speaking of Tati, who I studied some in Strasbourg, this film also has strong Francais memories for me as well. I happened to have the DVD of this in my CD case when I went to study abroad. So whenever I didn’ feel like going out or reading or doing homework or watching french TV, I’d put this on. However, I’d always have the french subtitles on to help improve my language skills. Only thing I remember from the subtitles? They translated “I don’t care” very strangely
